Butz was the father of Guntz and a legendary Bounty Hunter who played a significant role in Guntz's life as explained in Klonoa Heroes.
History[]
Butz and his partner, Janga, worked together to search for the Darkness of Nahatomb. When Butz refused to revive Nahatomb after hearing its legend, Garlen ordered Janga to kill Butz, and so he did, taking Butz's weapon with him.
