Spear Moos are relatives of Shield Moos, and have black fur instead of yellow.

Like the Shield Moos, Spear Moos carry shields to protect them from frontal attacks made by Klonoa's Wind Bullet, but also have a spear protruding from the middle of the shield. In Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil, they appear as Lancer Moos, with a separately-carried lance.
Similar to Pinkies, if you avoid them, they'll turn around and continue walking towards you. Additionally, they will attempt to charge Klonoa if he falls into their field of vision, moving at roughly twice their normal walking speed. In this state, they can switch direction almost instantly after Klonoa gets behind them.
